To empower means to give someone the authority, confidence, or strength to do something. At Empower Consulting, we believe that no one knows an individual with a disability better than the individual themself and their family. By empowering families with knowledge, skills, and tools to navigate the world of adult services, we work to eliminate the disconnect between individuals and professionals, putting the power of choice where it belongs - with the individuals themselves and those closest to them.
While we offer ongoing support services, our goal for every client is to work ourselves out of a job, leaving the client and their family with the tools and skills to navigate the adult world with confidence.

I’m Dr. Bridget Lueken, a passionate educator, advocate, and consultant with nearly two decades of experience supporting individuals with disabilities and their families.
The driving force behind my work is an unwavering commitment to the belief that every individual has the right to lead a meaningful, fulfilling life.
